Embracing an industrial style reminiscent of New York lofts, this apartment, designed by interior designer Tamar Rand, features brick walls, raw finishes, and a myriad of metallic elements. The fusion of practical and aesthetically pleasing materials brings a unique and edgy character to the space. The Italian furniture adds a touch of sophistication and elegance, complementing the overall design perfectly.
One of the great things about this project was the transformative process it underwent. The apartment was initially purchased as a shell with unfinished walls, offering a blank canvas for the creativity of Tamar Rand, interior designer.
An ingenious addition to the apartment was the revision of a small balcony on the second floor. By enclosing part of it and expanding the area, Tamar Rand created an extra six square meters of space to the main level. Structural adjustments were made, including relocating the stairs, resulting in the conversion of a four-room duplex into a stunning six-room dwelling.
Upon entering the main level, you are greeted by a spacious and open area that seamlessly blends the living room, kitchen, and dining room. There is a family room that could easily convert into an additional bedroom thanks to sliding doors, as well as a powder bathroom for added convenience.
Moving upstairs, the three bedrooms provide comfort and relaxation. Among them, the master bedroom stands out as a grand retreat, complete with a sizable walk-in closet and a luxurious en-suite bathroom. One of the standout features is the master bedroom's stunning 3D wall design, adding depth and personality to the room. Additionally, the study room, designed to double as a bedroom when needed, makes efficient use of every inch of space.
Each room within the apartment has been meticulously curated to exude its own cool and unique vibe while seamlessly coming together in harmony.
Additionally, practicality was at the forefront of Tamar Rand’s mind throughout the process. Thoughtful touches like separate washer/dryer units, strategically placed iRobot hiding spots, and smart storage solutions, ensure the apartment remains clutter-free and easy to maintain.
